Get A Clue With Blue

This WebQuest is designed for you to have lots of fun with Blues and his friends.  Together, you will color funny pictures, play matching games, and read stories along with Blues.  Have fun with Blues!
 

The Tasks:

This WebQuest is designed for grades K-3.  You will be able to determine shapes, learn colors and read an exciting story with BluesClues:

The Resources:

The following resources will help you and BluesClues accomplish several tasks.
1.  Meet Blue and his friends.  You will see Blue, Steve, Pail, Slippery Soap, and Mr. Salt.  You will read about each character and what they do to help you learn and have fun.  Do you like to color?  You can color pictures of Blue and his friends.  You will be able to click on a picture to enlarge it, print it, and color!
2.  Let's see Blue and his friends in action, you can preview Blue's Big Musical.  You can have fun and sing along with Blue and Steve.

3.  Play a game with Steve and Blue.  People have mixed up all their emotions and they don't know when to smile, frown, cry, laugh or act surprised! Please help them.  You will be able to distinquish the different emotions that people have.  You can also explore the world of colors.

4.  Blue and his friends will help you learn about safety when riding in a car.  You can play games and read a story with Blue and Steve.  Play a matching game, help Blue learn what to do when riding in a car.

5.  It's story time.  Blue will read a story to you.  Choose from three different stories Goodnight Bird, My Name is Blue, and Where Do Slippers Sleep?  Create your own art work.  You will be able to choose colors and paint your own picture.

The Process:

Use the skills that you learned in the task to complete the process.
1.  Meet Blue and his friends.   You will meet Blue, Steve, Pail, Slippery Soap and Mr. Salt.  You will read about each character and what they do to help you learn and have fun.  Do you like to color?  You can color pictures of Blue and his friends.  You will be able to print out pictures and color them.

2.  Let's see Blue and his friends in action, you can preview Blue's Big Musical.  You can have fun and sing along with Blue and Steve.

5.  It's story time.  Blue will read a story to you.   Choose from three different stories Goodnight Bird, My Name is Blue, and Where Do Slippers Sleep?  Click on Blue and he will tell you all the activities you can enjoy.  Do you like to paint?  Create your own art work by choosing different colors and applying them to the picture.

6.  It is now time to test your knowledge and name the characters of Blue's Clues by taking a quiz.

Learning Advice:

Learning colors, exploring your emotions, and reading are very important tools in learning and life.  Practice recogninzing your colors by using different objects as they have been presented to you in this webquest.  You can also learn to recognize words by reading along with Blue.  The knowledge that you have gained will help you with learning in the classroom.
