This webquest is designed to
introduce you to the wonderful and exciting world of integers. Throughout
the webquest you will apply your prior and newly aquired knowledge of integers
to many activities. You will need paper and pencil which your teacher
will provide for you, and an open mind. At the end of this lesson,
you should have acquired knowledge of integers, the relevant definitions,
and rules. Good Luck!!

TASKS SUCCESSFULLY, THE FOLLOWING STEPS SHOULD BE TAKEN:

2. Ask Dr. Math the symbol for an integer and why it is used. What is the symbol for an integer and how did it get its name?
3. Mrs. Glosser will list some common terms used with integer. Make a vocabulary list of five terms used with integers.
4. The glossary on integers is the best source to find examples of opposite. Click on integer in the glossary. You should find the word opposite. Click here and list four examples of opposites ( example, the opposite of 7 is -7).
5. To practice on your knowledge of integers, complete the practice exercises on Mathgoodies. Complete exersices 1-8 to test your skills with integers.
6. Now that you have sharpen your skills on adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing of integers, complete the Quia integer quiz. Complete this test successfully and you will be the Star of Integers.
