Excel allows you to select a range of cells, and then to drag it to another location - much easier than selecting the cells, cutting them to the clipboard, and then pasting them into a new location.

Here«s how you do it the easy way...

The screen tip tells you the location of the dragged cells, so you can verify that you have reached the correct destination.

Remember, the mouse pointer is usually a fat cross, when it is over the "Fill Handle" it is a skinny cross, and when it is over the drag borders, it is an arrow pointing up to 11o«clock.
